【性質】:
磷酸三鈉為白色或微黃色結晶，不溶于乙醇和二硫化碳，水溶液呈堿性，對人體皮膚有一定侵蝕作用。１％水溶液PH值為12.1，在干燥的空氣中易風化。在100°C時即失去十一個結晶水，212°C以上時即變為無水物Na3PO4，能與酸或鈣，鎂，鐵的鹽類起復分解反應。
【用途】:主要用作水的軟化劑，鍋爐清潔劑。也用作金屬防銹劑，染料中間體的干燥劑，照相顯影劑，織物絲光增強劑。
